Unlike many traditional units, our Atwood’s Machine does not require a wall mount. You can attach the two 5cm-diameter pulleys mounted on a 1cm-diameter support rod to a ring stand or similar support anywhere in your lab.
The 5cm pulleys have an extremely low coefficient of friction (6x10-3) and moment of inertia (7x10-7kgm2), to ensure accurate results in student experiments.
The complete kit contains everything you need including Atwood’s Machine, supports, masses, mass hanger, and pulley cord.
