Students can easily see the vibrating striker of our large electric bell through the clear polycarbonate vacuum jar.
The electrical connections are conveniently made to two binding posts attached to the jar’s rubber stopper. The bell hangs from springs so that its vibrations aren’t transferred to the jar, ensuring it is truly silent when the jar is evacuated. The bell jar is 24cm high and 17cm in diameter.
Set also includes a 21cm diameter vacuum plate with quick-connect hose nipple and complete instructions.
Requires 6mm inside diameter vacuum tubing, a vacuum pump, and a 6VAC power source.
