Many components of this useful set were designed specifically for this application, but nearly all of them have a wider usefulness. The keynote of the design is simplicity and ease of use. The Wheatstone bridge is mounted on a 110cm long metal base with rubber feet and has a slidewire of 22AWG nickel-chromium with a resistance of about 3Ù. A permanently mounted meter stick serves as a scale and a base for the durable sliding contact key. Large insulated binding posts are provided for connecting the included resistance box and the set of mounted resistors. Also included are a contact key, galvanometer, 1.5V dry cell, connecting leads, and instructions.
