The simplest DC electric motor model available, this model is ideal for student demonstrations. Comprised of a 2-pole armature wound with enameled copper wire, and a removable bar magnet to produce a permanent magnetic field, the motor also features a disc type commutator. External connection to the phosphor-bronze brush is by means of a pair of 4 mm sockets. Operates with 6-8 VDC.
