Dual Red/Green Laser Pointer |
In the night sky, the green laser effortlessly identifies stars miles away from the earth; while the red wavelength is better suited for daytime applications. Because of the dual wavelength laser’s particular spectrum, the green beam remains visible much longer and penetrates the air much farther than similar laser pointers. You can view the whole beam of light versus just the end dot. The rubber coating also makes the laser comfortable and durable for extended use. Powered by one AAA battery. Power: 5mW. Projected distance: Green: 25000 feet; Red: 1500 feet. Dot size: 18mm at 10M. Size: 130 x 14mm. Meets FDA and CE safety standards.

 - Wednesday, August 17, 2011 Red-Green Laser Optics Reviewed By: Connie (Kansas City, MO) When we set up a demonstration with laser optics, such as diffraction, we often want to qualitatively compare results when wavelength is changed. It's so easy with this dual laser: Set up the interference pattern with one color, then move your hand to the second switch to view and discuss changes in the pattern.
