Designed for middle school and elementary schoolstudents, the Fast Track Car curriculum provides an opportunity foryour students to investigate, optimize and race scaled down vehicles (RC cars). Students apply math and science lessons to real life problems in physical science and engineering with every task. Each challenge in the curriculum is designed to require real data collection and analysis, so students practice their skills in measuring, recording, and analyzing experiment results. The full challenge curriculum guides students through six activities in which they optimize their RC cars for fast and efficient performance. A four station manipulative and CD-ROM accompany the curriculum so your entire class can work together in teams toward challenge solutions. Students can then race their cars against each other for further building motivation.
