Hooke’s Law Spring Set |
Students can easily gain an understanding of Hooke’s Law and of the significance of the spring constant with this versatile set.
The five springs have constants of approximately 2.5, 5, 10, 15, and 25N/m for comparison study. Each is equipped with a lightweight aluminum hook fitted with a sliding position marker for reading length changes. A meterstick scale is conveniently fitted with a suspension hook and clamp for easy setup.
A short transparent ruler is provided for parallax-free scale readings. Set includes five springs with hooks and markers, a meterstick scale with clamp and suspension hook, a 15cm transparent ruler, and a mass hanger.
Slotted masses, stand base and rod sold separately.
Dimensions: Springs are 5.2–7.5cm long, 1.4–1.9cm diameter, with 7cm long hooks.
Scale and clamp are 100 x 5.5 x 7cm.
