Its transparency, size (it’s over 30cm high) and colored valves make this pump a superb demonstration model. Students can clearly see the function of each component. After immersing the bottom in a supply of water, pull up on the handle and water will fill the primary cylinder; a push down on that handle will force water into the secondary cylinder driving its piston up. Made primarily of glass with rubber seals, glass valves and steel piston rod.
