Generating magnetic fields for electron-beam deflections in the tube holder with this set of Helmholtz coils. The tube holder allows the coils to be configured in the Helmholtz geometry or at variable distances in order to produce magnetic fields aligned vertically with respect to the tube axis; it also allows coils to produce magnetic fields, which are coaxial with respect to the tube axis. Coils attach via 4mm jacks.
