Use either the graphical or the analytical method to study non-concurrent forces. Four protractors, each with a ball-bearing pivoting indicator, are mounted on a metal bar, two on each side. An adjustable weight at one end can change the center of gravity of the bar, and attaching either spring scales or masses and pulleys to the protractors applies forces to the system.
