Record triode characteristics, determine the negative polarity of electron charges, and generate cathode rays through the model of an electron gun with this Planar Triode. It is designed for quantitative investigations of controllable high-vacuum tubes. Students can also use it to investigate technical applications of triodes as amplifiers and oscillators when using with Helmholtz coils (WLS-1802-63). The Tube Holder (WLS-1802-62) and 500 VDC Power Supply (WLS-1799-15) are required, and available separately. Size: 12 x 12 x 25cm; weight: 1 lb.
