Designed to withstand student use, it is also large enough to be used for small scale demonstrations, having a plane 32cm long. Made entirely of heavy gauge steel, the base and plane are connected by a hinge, permitting the plane to be clamped at any angle from 0 to 45°. Vertical displacement, angular displacement and the distance from the hinge can be measured with built-in scales. The pulley can be adjusted two ways to insure that the cord runs parallel to the plane. Includes complete instructions and all the features needed for a full range of experiments.
