You can read the centripetal force while the object is still spinning. A spring scale is mounted on a one meter aluminum rod and a nylon cord links a revolving mass to the spring scale.
The top of the rod carries a polished glass guide through which the nylon cord threads. Includes three different masses of soft rubber for safety.
A short scale is mounted along the rod to permit quick compensation for elongation of the balance spring.
