Consists of a brass tube 48?L and 6mm in diameter. It is mounted near one end of a vertical support, preventing it from slipping. The other end rests on a small horizontal rod which the expanding tube causes to rotate on a simple system of rollers. This rod is bent to form a counter balanced pointer which moves over a 180° scale. When steam is passed through the tube, the tube temperature will increase from room temperature to steam temperature. Includes 1 brass tube and instructions. Requires a steam generator, not included.
