Easily assembled, this trebuchet project kit will attract and keep your students’ attention. Made of precisely lasercut plywood, monofilament line, and steel washers, the 35 parts assemble a working miniature trebuchet that will hurl a pea-sized piece of modeling clay up to 3 m. The main lever arm has two series of holes to allow experimentation with the lengths of the projectile and falling weight lever arms. The number of washers propelling the machine can also be varied.
